London, 29th November, 2013
Wattle Publishing launched Entropy by Robert Raker on the 29th of November, 2013. Anastasia Cavouras, Publisher of Wattle Publishing said: “We are delighted to have worked with Robert Raker to publish such an emotionally gripping crime book. Set in an economically blighted community in small town America, the book is told from the perspective of four people who have been affected by the crimes.”
Robert Raker graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Pittsburgh. He currently resides in Philadelphia where he enjoys art, music, literature and live theater. Robert Raker said: “It took me eight years to write Entropy and a further year working with the team at Wattle Publishing. I was awe-struck when I received the cover from my publisher as I felt that it captured the suspense and emotion of the book. The publishing experience has been fascinating and extremely positive.”
When a series of child abductions and murders disrupt the life of an economically blighted community, the consequences have far-reaching implications. The brutal crimes take a different toll on a disparate group of individuals; the scuba diver who retrieves the children’s bodies; the disfigured cellist who thinks he knows who’s responsible; the undercover federal agent and the mother of one of the victims. United in a situation not of their choosing, they are forced to take a deep, introspective look into their intersected, yet isolated lives.
